Follow Him Apparel didn’t start as a business. It started as something personal.
Like a lot of people, I’ve dealt with pressure, confusion, and trying to figure out who I am. I’ve also had to face the hard parts of life that come with being a 17-year-old in high school. Things like temptation, lust, expectations, and trying to live set apart in a world that constantly pulls you in the opposite direction. None of that is easy, and I don’t have it all figured out. But through all of it, God kept pulling me back to one simple truth. Life isn’t about me. It’s about Jesus.
In Mark 8:34, Jesus says, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.” That verse is at the core of this brand. Follow Him Apparel exists to remind people, including myself, to die to self daily and follow Christ, even when it’s uncomfortable or unpopular.
This brand is about two years old now, and it means more to me than just clothes. It’s a way to spread the Gospel in a real and simple way, and it’s a stepping point into something much bigger than apparel. This is just the beginning of what I’m hoping God will do through it.
Putting on a shirt or hoodie might seem small, but it can start a conversation. It can encourage someone. And if it points even one person to Jesus, then it’s worth it.
More than anything, Follow Him Apparel is about love. The world feels divided, and it’s easy to forget that people are more than labels or opinions. Jesus calls us to love one another, to show grace, and to see each other as people made in God’s image. That’s the heart behind this brand.
This is just the beginning.
A step of faith.
A message on fabric.
All for His glory.
